`wp-kit/standalone` was created for use cases where users require the installation of `wp-kit` in a subdirectory situated inside the root folder a Wordpress install.

`wp-kit` is a [`RAD`](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapid_application_development) (Rapid Application Development) solution for Wordpress.

This repo has been discontinued to make way for [`Bedrock`](https://roots.io/bedrock/). Bedrock works at root level, intercepts and handles the request. [WPKit Theme 2.0+](https://github.com/wp-kit/theme) can then be used at theme level.
