Solr installation
-----------------

[](#solr-installation)

- Download Solr from [the solr website](http://lucene.apache.org/solr/mirrors-solr-latest-redir.html)
- Extract the zip-file
- Navigate to *<INSTALLATION\_FOLDER>/server/solr/*
- Create a new folder and name it *platform*
- Open the conf.zip file from the *SolrEntitySearchBundle/Resources\\solr/* Folder and extract it into the *<INSTALLATION\_FOLDER>/server/solr/platform/* folder
- Navigate to *<INSTALLATION\_FOLDER>/bin/*
- Execute the following command: */solr create -c platform*
