Magento restrict passing objects to email templates from version 2.3.4 described [here](https://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.4/frontend-dev-guide/templates/template-email-migration.html) This is just a temporary fix to allow email templates till the time you migrate them to new guidlines.
