Introduction
------------

Announcements is a module made for providing functionality for, well, announcements, but also breaking news or alerts or similar. Any kind of site wide notification.

Installation
------------

When installed the module is mostly ready to use except for the placement of the announcement block that needs to be inserted into an appropiate region where it's alwaus visible.

Fields
------

Announcements are fully fieldable, so if a project needs more fancy fields than just an RTE field, you can delete the body field and / or add more fields.

Theming
-------

In order to give the announcements some styling all you need to do is to provide template called announcement.html.twig in the theme and add a library with CSS.
