MeiliSearch for Magento

This project is designed to enable Magento to work with MeiliSearch instead of ElasticSearch/OpenSearch. It utilizes code similar to **Algolia**, as it is a modified version of Algolia tailored to function with MeiliSearch.

Currently, there are a few more features that need to be fixed/added, such as popular queries in search and recommended products, track product changes (inventory changes), etc.

#### I'll be continuously updating this README to provide more detailed information as the project progresses.

### Requirements

- PHP 8.0 or above
- Magento 2.4.6 (I've used 2.4.6 to develop, not sure if it might be compatible with lower versions.)
- MeiliSearch (1.3 or greater)

### Installation

`Download the files, create new folder under app/code/MelTheDev/MeiliSearch`

```
bin/magento module:enable MelTheDev_MeiliSearch
bin/magento setup:upgrade && bin/magento setup:di:compile
bin/magento index:reindex

```

Once done, you should be able to configure the changes in the admin stores configuration, where you will find a new section called "MelTheDev MeiliSearch."
