To maintain a stable core with no new overhead that does not need to be updated yearly, we plan to only update in the future for the following reasons: - PHP version, - Symfony components LTS versions, - Possible missed classes that would need to be resolved instead of instantiated directly. - Vulnerabilities / Bugs Current version is using Symfony components 7.4 (LTS) and supports PHP 8.2 to 8.4 which are supported until the end of 2029.
