What is Joomla Legacy?

Joomla Legacy is a legacy library for the [Joomlatools Platform](https://www.joomlatools.com/developer/platform/) which includes all the legacy classes that have been marked deprecated and are no longer used by the core.

Installation
------------

Joomla Legacy can and should be installed by using [Composer](https://getcomposer.org/).

Go to the root directory of your Joomla Platform installation using the command line and execute following command:

```
composer require joomlatools/platform-legacy:2.*

```
