This extension adds [IBM DB2](http://www-01.ibm.com/software/data/db2/) database engine extension for the [Yii framework 2.0](http://www.yiiframework.com).

This branch use the last developer version of Yii2 (dev-master)

- IBM DB2 Client SDK installed
- PHP module pdo\_ibm or pdo\_odbc
- IBM DB2 Database Server 10.1 or greater

Installation
------------

The preferred way to install this extension is through [composer](http://getcomposer.org/download/).

Either run

```
php composer.phar require --prefer-dist "edgardmessias/yii2-ibm-db2:*"
```

or add

```
"edgardmessias/yii2-ibm-db2": "*"
```

to the require section of your composer.json.

To use this extension, simply add the following code in your application configuration:

Using IBM DB2:

Using ODBC IBM iAccess driver:

If working on iSeries set isISeries parameter to true and fill defaultSchema.
