Laravext Example - Laravel 12 with React
========================================

[](#laravext-example---laravel-12-with-react)

Introduction
------------

[](#introduction)

This is an starter kit of a Laravel 12 application with React that makes use of the [Laravext package](https://laravext.dev).

I tried to keep as similar as the one officially offered by the Laravel team, so the starter kit isn't making use of the `layout.(jsx|tsx)` file convention.

Instructions
------------

[](#instructions)

I'm assuming you have PHP (8.4 or later), Composer and Node.js installed on your machine, and also that you have some kind of database running (like MySQL or SQLite), that you have created a `.env` file based on the `.env.example` file and set it up with your database credentials.

```
npm install
npm run build
composer install
php artisan migrate --seed
php artisan serve # or use Laravel Herd, or whatever you prefer
```

You should now be able to access the application at , or whatever URL you have set up for your local environment.

Top contributor holds 100% of commits — single point of failure

How is this calculated?**Maintenance (25%)** — Last commit recency, latest release date, and issue-to-star ratio. Uses a 2-year decay window.

**Popularity (30%)** — Total and monthly downloads, GitHub stars, and forks. Logarithmic scaling prevents top-heavy scores.

**Community (15%)** — Contributors, dependents, forks, watchers, and maintainers. Measures real ecosystem engagement.

**Maturity (30%)** — Project age, version count, PHP version support, and release stability.
