Twenty Sixteen React is an isomorphic WordPress theme built using [NodeifyWP](https://github.com/10up/nodeifywp). The theme executes Node.js code directly in PHP utilizing the latest JavaScript technologies:

Twenty Sixteen React is a **true isomorphic application** within PHP. It provides all the benefits of WordPress and powerful isomorphic Node.js technologies. No separate Node.js/Express server is necessary.

Setup

After properly setting up the [NodeifyWP environment](https://github.com/10up/nodeifywp-environment):

1. Activate the theme in WordPress
2. Within the theme directory, run the following in the command line:

`npm install`

3. Enable pretty permalinks in the WordPress admin.
